Yes!!!
The good die young, as the saying goes. I was heartbroken when they finally canceled this effortlessly brilliant show. But I take consolation in the DVDs, and will keep my fingers crossed for "Arrested Development: The Movie"!

Not the worst movie I've ever seen...
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 8 June 2007 06:49 (A review of The Sweetest Thing)But damn near close. Total waste of the talent (however moderate) of the entire cast. Most of the funny bits were in the trailer. Watch only if drunk, high, or absolutely desperate!

Made by sci-fi fans, for sci-fi fans
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 8 June 2007 06:44 (A review of Galaxy Quest)This underrated '99 comedy is a loving tribute to all the good, the bad, and the hilariously ridiculous that goes along with being a part of the sci-fi fan culture. Enjoyable for non-sci-fi fans, too, particularly those who just enjoy a family-friendly, heartfelt, funny film, filled with silly gags and great comedic turns by Tim Allen (back when we still liked him), Sigourney Weaver, Tony Shaloub, the always-awesome Alan Rickman, and the scene-stealing Enrico Colantoni. Also keep your eyes out for the before-they-were-stars performances of Justin Long and Rainn Wilson.

A Puzzling Movie
Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 8 June 2007 06:27 (A review of Down with Love)I went into this campy send-up of the bubbly romantic comedy classics of the 1950's and 60's expecting to hate it. Instead, I came out slightly puzzled. It's not funny enough to be a parody. It's not heartfelt enough to be a tribute. So what is it?? I have no clue, but I like it!!!

Top Secret! review
Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 30 May 2007 12:42 (A review of Top Secret!)A camp 80's classic that so revels in its own awfulness, you can't help but laugh along with it. Hands-down, Val Kilmer's best movie ever.
